11. februar er det duka for VEKA-vorspiel! C:V har vorte ein tradisjon siste åra, og denne gong får me besøk av DJ Phaxx og saksofonist Ingemar Låås!

Phaxx har vore DJ nesten heile sitt liv, og starta sin kjærleik til musikk heilt attende på slutten av 80-tallet. Væpna med berre ein fiolin tok unge Phaxx aka Philip sine første steg inn i musikkverda.

12 år gamal gjekk Phaxx til sin første disco-skule, og då visste han umiddelbart kva han skulle gjere med livet; nemleg verte DJ.

Phaxx er kjend for å glede publikum med sitt val av musikk og få rytmesansane i sving hjå publikum med dei deilege beat-ane han presenterar, og for å ta publikum med på ei sann musikalsk reise med utmerkt musikalsk programmering og blendande tekniske ferdigheiter.

I over eitt tiår har Phaxx vore fast inventar på dei fleste av dei mest kjende spelestadane i Europa. Han er vanlegvis å finne på stadar som Bora Bora (Ibiza), Traffic (Storbritannia), Castle Club (Hellas), Buddha Bar (NL) og i heile Skandinavia på klubbar som Hemsen (NO), Åpenbar (NO), Ambassadeur (SE) , Emil & Samuel (NO), og på nokre av Noregs beste festivaler som Quartz, Extrema, Palmesus, og mange fleire. Phaxx har òg spelt support for DJ-ar som Grandmaster Flash, Roger Sanchez og Bob Sinclair.

Ingemar Låås har vitja oss tidlegare, og de hugsar han kanskje som ein ivrig kar som sprutar ut dei heftigaste sax-lydar.

Låås er ein svensk saksofonist og aktiv Funk-, Jazz- og Popmusikar gjennom 20 år. Han har jobba med mange av Sveriges mest populære artistar.

Etter å ha spelt på klubbscener i ei årrekkje fekk Låås ein trengsel etter å prøve noko nytt. Han oppdaga House-musikk som ein heilt ny måte å bruke og vise ferdigheitene sine i improvisasjon, og å roe svolten etter nye musikalske leikekameratar.

Etter kvart har han vorte til ein av dei mest populære House-Sax-artistane i Skandinavia.

Gjennom åra som live-musikar i Skandinavia har han spela med personligheiter som Norman Doray, Wez Clarke, Andy Daniels, Henrik B, Eddie Cabrera, Darwin og Bakvegg. Han har óg turnert med Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi, Housetåget og spela på stadar som Ambassadeur (SE), NASA (DK), Åpenbar (No) Cafe Opera (SE) og Slagthuset (SE).

#360Hemsedal - 2012

360 Hemsedal - 2012 // 8-10th Jan.
After a couple of months of planning and booking to make the event close to perfect, (I want to say, closer to perfect is hard to get) we were ready to do it.

We had about 600 guests from the resturant monkeybuisness around Norway at the Event in Hemsedal.

We started up on sunday 8th Jan at Hemsedal Café. The one and only Micke DJ had his afterski show upstairs and me, DJ Boge, MC Essa Cham did our urban thing in the basement. All in all a smooth start og the 360 -2012.

Mondaynight were going to be one of the best in a very long time! :-)

We started up after the dinner with some nice reggae and dancahall trademarked Essa Cham back up by selecta Big Phil ;) followed by Ingrid Berg Mehus (violin) and a PistolPuma & Phaxx session. Full party!
Time for the mainact; Conspirasy, fullt throttle, hardcore clubbing for 40 minutes !!!
Then me and PistolPuma could finnish the night off with only 1 hour overtime! :-)
I would love to have a picture of all 600 people with there hands in the air, when PistolPuma where at the front of the stage cheering and screaming with the crowed! Fantastic moment, fantastic night!
